PRIDE Postcards

  • When 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 PRIDE tokens are received, students visit the Principal to receive a Postcard to take home

  • Tokens placed in container in Principal’s office

Wall of PRIDE

  • Located in the school hall

  • Photos of students who have received a PRIDE Postcard

  • When 50 / 75 / 100 PRIDE tokens have been received by a student, a sticker depicting the number of tokens is placed on the student’s photo.

Class Rewards

  • Every fortnight class teachers decide whether their class has worked hard enough together to have earned 10 min bonus free play (to be monitored by teacher), taken at a time of the teacher’s choosing. This could be the whole class, or children who have not been in the behaviour book that fortnight.

  • At the end of each term student leaders (with PB4L coordinator & staff input) will choose a class that has worked really hard on all the Netherby PRIDE values and earned 1hr PRIDE time at the end of term. The activity undertaken will be negotiated between the class teacher and the class being rewarded.

End of Term lunch (optional)

  • Eligible students are ones who have not appeared in the Behaviour Management Tracking Tool over the term.

  • 14 students– a boy & girl from each class who have made real efforts to demonstrate Netherby PRIDE - chosen by class teachers. Different children each term.

  • Taken to a special Kai for Kids lunch with a staff member(s) in the last week of term.

  • Parents informed by PB4L coordinator that their child has been chosen.

Collection of tokens

  • Teachers create a place to collect PRIDE tokens of each student in their class. This must be visible to ensure that children who deserve PRIDE tokens are receiving them.

  • Teachers to create a small display in classroom to show who has 25, 50, 75, 100 PRIDE tokens.
